Christine Kaelin is an artist, designer and teacher, based in Zurich and Toronto. Her work encompasses independent as well as commissioned projects and is characterized by unconventional ideas and the passion for form and detail. Frequently, she collaborates with an interdisciplinary team of creative professionals such as photographers, scenographers, architects and programmers. Christine turns to analog work as often as possible. She`s a member of Open Studio, the Contemporary Printmaking Center in Toronto, as well as of the collective Zitropress, a printmaking studio in Zurich.
Christine Kaelin graduated with a Diploma in Visual Communication from Zurich University of the Arts in 2008.
She mentored several students for their Bachelor of Arts degree in 2012 and 2013 and was also a juror at the Zurich University of the Arts in 2013.
